The FBI on Monday (20/7/2021) searched the bedroom of Brian Laundrie, the fiancé of celebrity celebrity Gabby Petito.
The search was carried out a day after Gabby Petito’s body was found, and the day before the 22-year-old’s death was declared homicide.
Brian Laundrie himself became a fugitive from the FBI because he disappeared after being declared a person of interest in the case of the death of Gabby Petito.
A person of interest is a person who may be involved in the case, but has not been charged with any crime.
After the Laundrie family home was officially declared a crime scene, Brian’s parents Roberta, 55, and Chris, 62, were seen walking out of the residence as investigators gathered and tracked down evidence that might help explain the 23-year-old’s disappearance.

The New York Post later obtained photos of the inside of the three-bedroom home, which contains the family’s two bathrooms in North Port, Florida, and was purchased by the Laundrie family in 2015 for $120,000.
Then in 2017 they tried to sell it for 215,000 US dollars (now IDR 3 billion), with the price dropping a month later.
The Laundrie family then withdrew the house from sale in January 2018.
One image from a real estate agent in 2017 shows the contents of Brian Laundrie’s bedroom.
There was a sinister poster of a dark figure with a hammer and ball striking another figure violently, mounted on a two-story bookshelf.
Other items include what looks like a gun on the top shelf of his bed, a Darth Vader mask, and a collection of Watchmen books.
Netizens also discovered that Brian Laundrie kept Jeff VanderMeer’s book Annihilation, a 2014 novel about four women who venture into Area X, where three of them die and the fourth disappears forever.
However, it’s not the only home the Laundrie family has owned or sold recently.
Property records show that they also have a condominium unit in Florida since 2015 which they bought for $99,500 (now IDR 1.4 billion).
Brian Laundrie’s family sold the property that summer for $144,000, after being put on the market for two weeks in July.
