Vitor Belfort, who has been known as a mixed martial arts fighter and former UFC champion, defeated Evander Holyfield, a former world heavyweight champion in various boxing bodies. In a boxing match held at the Seminole Hard Rock Café Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, Florida, Belfort defeated Holyfield in the first round after the referee stopped the fight.
44-year-old Belfort looked to dominate the game against 58-year-old Evander Holyfield. Starting from the beginning of the round Belfort immediately rained Holyfield with a series of combinations of blows. Holyfield looked shaky as he took consecutive hits from Belfort. Even Evander Holyfield had fallen after being hit by Belfort and got a count from the referee.
After that Holyfield continued the fight but Belfort again showered Holyfield with consecutive punches, forcing referee Samuel Burgos to stop the match because he considered Holyfield unable to continue the match. Holyfield itself looks very disappointed with the decision of referee Samuel Burgos because it was too early to stop the match while he still felt capable.

The match between Evander Holyfield against Vitor Belfort was a substitute party. It should have been Oscar de Lahoya who was going to fight Vitor Belfort in a match that was supposed to be held in California. However, Oscar De La Hoya turned out to be positive for Covid 19. Evander Holyfield also became a substitute for De Lahoya in the match which was finally moved to Florida because the State of California did not issue a permit to compete for Evander Holyfield for various reasons, one of which was the age factor of Holyfield.
