Speculation where Gable Steveson will eventually continue his career has finally been answered. The Tokyo Olympics heavyweight gold medalist for wrestling is rumored to be playing for WWE.
Through his Twitter account, Gable Steveson announced that he had signed a contract to play in WWE although he had not fully decided on the contract.
According to the Wrestling Observer, the former NCAA champion and Tokyo Olympic gold medalist is reported to have signed with WWE and was even reported to have met with WWE Owner Vince Mcmahon last month.
There are no definite rumors as to when Steveson will make his WWE debut, nor is it known exactly when he will finish at the University of Minnesota.
Gable Steveson became phenomenal after he won the 125 kg freestyle heavyweight gold medal at the Tokyo Olympics. The last gold medal in this class was won by an American wrestler in 1992.
Steveson took the gold medal after winning against his opponents in the last seconds. What the public really remembers is when he did a backflip or somersault to celebrate his victory.
