Apple released the iPhone 13 series in celebration of the Apple Event which was held live streaming on September 15, 2021. Four iPhone 13 models were released at once, namely the iPhone 13 Mini, iPhone 13, iPhone 13 Pro, and iPhone 13 Pro Max.
Although the design is almost the same as the previous version, there are many new features and changes to the iPhone 13 series. So for iPhone 12 series users, do you need to upgrade from iPhone 12 to iPhone 13?
“We’re bringing the iPhone 13 Pro line to users who want the latest technology in their iPhone, from performance to cameras to bigger screens,” said Apple CEO Tim Cook at the launch event.

Just like the iPhone 13 and 13 Mini, the iPhone 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max are also equipped with bangs that are claimed to be 20 percent smaller than the previous generation. Inside the bangs there is a 12 MP selfie camera and an infrared camera to scan faces (Face ID).
